NEW TO DIVING
Totally new to diving or just need a refresher course? No problem. Our Certified Instructors will guide you every step of the way. We have two tour options for you to choose from.
Discover Scuba Diving Tour
For this tour you don't need to be certified at all. Our instructors will be right by your side the entire day. They will introduce and instruct you on the basics of diving. The tour includes one 40 min tank dive. You have the option of adding a 2nd 40 min tank dive to this tour at checkout if you would like. If you are having lunch/dinner at the Sea Side Restaurant, a Free Welcome Drink of Margarita/Wine/Beer is also included. Then minimum age for this tour is 12 years old.
A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you will learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver.
This tour starts at 8:30 am and you'll get back approximately at 2:30 p.m.
Check Dive Tour (Scuba Review)
Are you already certified but would like a review? Then this is the tour for you. Our instructors will review with you the basics of diving & equipment familiarization. After orientation our instructors guide you on a 40 min dive. This tour is recommended for any diver who has not been diving for more than 1 year.
This tour starts at 9:00 am and is 1:30hr long.

DAY DIVING
Our service is geared toward a hassle free and relaxing dive experience. You will find all your equipment waiting for you on the boat in the morning. During the day, all your equipment will be set up for you on the boat allowing you to enjoy the ride & dive. We have 13 different dive locations to choose from. Depending on the dive location, we stop for lunch on a beach nearby or on the boat. At the end of the day, just stroll up to our Sunset Bar to order your favorite drink while your equipment is unloaded & rinsed in fresh water. If you are having lunch/dinner at the Sea Side Restaurant, a Free Welcome Drink of Margarita/Wine/Beer is also included.
Note: For any diver who has not been diving for more than 1 year, the Check Dive Tour above (Scuba Review) is recommended beforehand.

NIGHT DIVING
Experience a whole new world in the color of night. Night diving cannot be compared with any other form of scuba diving. We have two options for you to choose from.
Note: For any diver who has not been diving for more than 1 year or who does not bring their Dive Card the Check Dive Tour above (Scuba Review) is recommended.
Night Dive Tour (5 person min)
Enter a door of discovery under the glow of lights. This tour includes about a 1 hr dive. If you have less than 5 people in your party, please call us for more details.
This is a two hour tour. The tour leaves at sunset (around 7:30 pm).
Night Dive with Mobula Rays Tour (5 person min)
The display of the Mobula Rays is nothing less than spectacular. This all day tour includes the 2 tank Day Dive above and a 45 min dive with the Mobula Rays at night. We light up Plankton with LED Lights. This can bring hundreds of Mobula Rays to feed on. After the tour, a pizza dinner from the Sea Side Restaurant is included. You have the option of adding a 3rd tank to the day dive at checkout if you would like. If you have less than 5 people in your party, please call us for more details.
This tour is available from Sept 1 to the End of April. It starts at 10:30 am and gets back at 11:00 pm.

The Cortez Club is a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre; we train people on PADI courses from beginner right up to professional diving instructor.
As a beginner you will train to become a PADI OPEN WATER DIVER. This qualification will enable you to dive around the world with a buddy (friend/partner) of the same or higher standard, to a maximum recommended depth of 18 metres/60 feet.
The Cortez Club has no minimum number for classes, so you can sign up any time. This guarantees individual attention and most importantly, maximum safety. The main feature of a rebreather is the reduced bubbles and silence it offers. The benefit of the of silence is that it allows you to get closer to shy wildlife. Perfect for the pelagic fish here in The Sea of Cortez.
